Joe Bradford developed the Pod herb garden while he was a student at the Wentworth Institute of Technology.
Its designed to offer an easy way for urban residents to grow herbs and other plants at home.



The pod's low- profile spherical shape fits on any kitchen counter, giving you immediate access to herbs while you cook.

The Boswells Building


This Dundee Landmark was built in 1898 and was originally built to be a Mason Lodge on the upper floor and hall on the lower floor.

During the Anglo Boer war it was occupied by the Boer forces and was named “Meyersdorp” it was used to store looted furniture and goods.

· 1900- Mr Birkett the Town Clerk saw to it that the locals reclaimed their furniture and goods.

· 1901/2- The building was used to hold the “Treason Trials” for The Natal Rebels.

· 1904-1910- The building was used as the Dundee and District Club.

· 1924- The National Party inaugural meeting took place here.

· 1929- The Masons sold the building to Mr Atwell. He used it as a photographic studio as well as using it   for dances, shows and cinema.

· 1935- It was purchased by Ralph Boswell Robertson and became a grocery store.

· Since the 60s the building has been a Bank, vegetable market and a Church.
